Desi Caliente is a high-energy Bollywood/Bhangra dance team founded by Subbu Palaniappan and his wife Reid Bryan. Ashley Patchen, a member of Desi Caliente for many years started a Boulder branch a few years back. The Denver team is still in session, Boulder is currently on hold during COVID and after Ashley’s ACL injury. Due to it’s highly cultural nature, Desi Caliente tends to have many more performances than other troupes.
