Rental FAQs

How many people can we fit in the studio?

Comfortably… probably around 30. Uncomfortably… about 50.

Do you provide reception services for my event?

No. It’s up to you to provide the check-in experience for your event.

Do we have to clean up after our event?

Yes. When you arrive before your event, the studio will be in tip top shape. That means clean floors, clean mirrors, and clean bathrooms. It should look the same way when you leave. Post-event cleaning is part of our rental contract.

Can we bring booze?

It depends, let’s chat.

Can we smoke inside?

Nope. We’re a fitness center, it’s important to us that we keep the air clean for our clients. If you smoke outside, make sure you clean up after yourselves. Least favorite activity? Cleaning up cigarette butts after an event.

Can we decorate?

Sure, just remember to take everything down and pack it up when you leave. And we kindly ask that you do not remove any of the existing decorations.

What kind of seating is available?

We’ve got folding chairs, an office chair or two, and some of those strange stadium seating cushions that you can use (back-jacks). We also have folding tables and chaises you can set up as well..

Will you promote my event on your website or Facebook page?

Because rental events aren’t Alchemy of Movement events, we do not promote events at the studio, on the website, or on our social media accounts. If you want to do a combined, Alchemy sponsored event with promotional help, front desk, and more, shoot us an email with the details.

Can we use your sound system?

You bet. You can also bring along your own audio equipment to plug into what we’ve got or to roll your own audio setup. If you unplug the mixer and move speakers, please make sure to put things back where you found them.

How late can we stay? Is there a bedtime?

You can stay most of the night and well into the wee hours of the morning. That being said, the studio has to be clean and organized before we open for regular classes the following morning. If you think you want to pull an all-nighter, let’s chat, we handle extended rental requests case-by-case.

What’s your hourly rate?

One-off workshops, classes, rehearsals, smaller events are $75/hour. There’s a $200 security deposit that’s fully refundable if you take care of our home! Parties for $200/hour with a $500 refundable security deposit. If you will be renting on a regular weekly basis, price can be negotiated.
